“Taste of
Jensen”, a 14-year Jensen Beach Christmas tradition,
will be held on Tuesday, December 20, in downtown Jensen
Beach. Grown to 25 taste stations, and including live
music and great holiday shopping opportunities, the
popular “tasting” event is offering 400 tickets for sale
at three Seacoast National Bank locations on, Jensen
Beach Boulevard, NW Federal Highway and Hutchinson
Island. Tasting hours are 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The “Taste
of Jensen” is a Jensen Beach Chamber of Commerce event.
Lucky
ticket holders will get the opportunity to taste and
sample food from some of Jensen Beach’s finest
restaurants: Kona Beach Café, New England Fish Market
Restaurant, Dolphin Bar & Shrimp House, Red Lobster,
Hurricane Grill & Wings, Shakra’s Deli, Rooster’s
Daytime Café, Peter’s Steakhouse, 11 Maple Street, Jan’s
Place, Mulligan’s Beach House Bar & Grill, Crawdaddy’s
N’awlins Café & Raw Bar, Beach House Pizza, Hayes
Gourmet Bakery & Café, Aunt D’s Kitchen, Marciano’s Wine
& Dine, The Landing Restaurant, Bagel Break, Tropical
Smoothie, Mary’s Gourmet Kitchen, Shuckers On The Beach,
Bourbon Street BBQ & Southern Home Cooking, Also
participating will be Southern Eagle Distributing Inc,
Starbucks Coffee Company, & Harper’s Pub.
“The food is the
real star every year at the Taste of Jensen,” said Julie
Bertrand, event coordinator. “People will be pleasantly
surprised with the menus and we also have a number of
new restaurants that will be first time participants.”
Live non-stop
music will be featured during the event by James Graham
Steel Band Island Music, Ron McCode Band, Big Ben, and
Island Music by George Neil.
